EMOTIONAL DESIGN

A series of three fold out zines focusing on the three levels of emotional design which was theorised by Donald A. Norman. Each zine focuses on one of three levels, explaining the theory behind them and how each level contributes to good emotional design.

The photography within the zines was done by myself, which each image attempting to depict a visual representation of each level.

 

For example, the image used of Visceral design is of a product immediately as it comes, as this level is all about our first impressions of products. Then for Behavioural design, the image is demonstrates the idea of the functionality of the product, as this

level is all about function over form.
