STREET FEAST
These poster designs were created in response to the live briefs published by YCN in 2018. I chose to focus on the 'Street Feast' brief, which had a brief with very little restrictions.
In their brief, they asked for a campaign which promoted the chain and its locations for summer 2018. For them, it was key that each of their 4 locations were advertised in a way to promote them, but were designed in a way that tied each location to the brand 'Street Feast'. They highlighted their target audience to be of a younger demographic (18-34), so designs would have to appeal to this market.
In response to the brief, I decided to work with an illustrative approach to the work, as this style is quirky and I feel it appeals well to the desired target market. I focused my idea around the concept of the street food markets providing an 'explosion of experiences', and designed street food exploding
from a take out box, to demonstrate this idea. In order to demonstrate each individual restaurant was part of the 'Street Feast' brand, I alternated titles and colour schemes throughout.
